Thinking

It's sad how people who were once the best of friends drift apart and end up becoming strangers. Earlier today I was picking up a few things at Wal Mart and I swear that I passed the woman who had been my best friend in the early 90's. At first, it was kind of hard to tell for certain since we both had masks on, but we made eye contact and it was then that I was 100% sure it WAS her. I was going to say hello, but there was no sign of recognition on her part and she just kept on walking.
