Where have all the hummingbirds gone? I have had two feeders out all summer-one in the front yard and the other in the back- and have not seen anything but wasps feeding on the nectar. Last summer, I saw 2 or 3 hummingbirds on a daily basis. Weird.

Why do stores even bother putting directional arrows on floors if people are just going to ignore them and go up/down aisles any way they want?

Why do some people even bother wearing a mask? I lost count of how many people I saw at the grocery store this afternoon who had masks covering their mouths but NOT their noses. To me, that makes as much sense as wearing underwear with your junk on the outside.

Has anyone else had a difficult time concentrating since the shelter in place orders were issued in March, or is it just me? Three months later and I’m still struggling to focus, especially when I’m trying to read. It’s bad.

Why do some people think it's funny to make mean-spirited remarks at others' expense and then try to pass it off as a joke?

I was at a co-worker's "game night" last night, laughing and having a great time, when I heard the roommate of said co-worker make some catty remark about me while we were playing Taboo. This person doesn't know me all that well, so I don't know why she just assumed it was okay to take a personal jab at me. It's not that I don't have a sense of humor, or that I don't know how to take a joke, but what she said about me wasn't at all funny (or true in the least bit). Even my best friend, who is the queen of sarcasm, thought she crossed the line. That's saying a lot.

I can joke around with the best of them, but my humor is never mean-spirited or insulting. Life's too short to spend my time around people who have to be mean to make themselves feel better about their own miserable lives.

What is up lately with companies butchering 80's songs to sell their products? Sonic's "You Can Do Magic" and Old Navy's "Fascination" commercials are bad enough, but why the hell did H&M choose Duran Duran's highly sexual "Girls On Film" to advertise their back-to-school clothes? Yuck.

Why do the bridesmaids serving WE Tv's Bridezillas put up with the verbal abuse, bitchy attitudes, and insane demands heaped upon them? I realize that planning a wedding can be stressful, but that is no excuse to act like a spoiled, self-centered dictator. I love my friends and relatives, but if any of them had ever pulled that bridezilla crap on me, well...let's just say they would've had to have surgery to remove my bridesmaid dress from one of their bodily orifices.

Why isn't Season 4 of The Twilight Zone included in streaming Netflix? Three of my all-time favorite TZ episodes (Miniature, Jess-Belle, and The New Exhibit) are from that season, so I'm bummed that I can't watch them instantly.
