On a related note, I just have to mention how much I adore this drive through. Employees have it decorated so cutely. In addition to the goose, there's a wheelbarrow filled with flowers, painted rocks in the shapes of flowers, rocks painted like ladybugs, inspirational quotes, and a wooden pallet adorned with hanging plants. The next time I go through, I'll take more photos. Heck, I might even make it the subject of a Thursday 13!

Puppy Bowl VIII

All of the puppies are too precious for words (check out the line up here), but I have a soft spot in my heart for York, the eleven week old Bassett Hound mix, and Delilah, the thirteen week old terrier.

Just look at those faces! I am dying from the adorableness.

I Now Know Why Puppies Are So Darned Cute

It's to prevent you from strangling them when they piss on your living room carpet 8 times in one weekend. Or when they poop on one of your living room rugs 30 seconds after you bring them back in the house after having them outside to go potty.

I adore my brother's chocolate lab pup "Doc", I really do, but damn. Spending my weekend dealing with his toilet accidents- not to mention his hyperactivity- is the last thing I want to do after working all week.

If my brother expects Mom or I to puppy-sit while he's out deer hunting over the next few weeks, he's going to have to bring his kennel. I hate the idea of kenneling Doc, but Christmas is coming up and I don't want to have to deal with him chewing on the gifts, the extension cords, and/or the tree.

This will never not be funny. I would totally do this to my pug, Mushi Mu, on Halloween if I had the sweater, hat, and glove.

Puppy Power!

Meet the newest member of the family- an eight week old chocolate lab puppy named "Doc". My brother, Bart, wanted a new hunting dog for his upcoming 40th birthday and fell head over heels the second he laid eyes on this little guy. Isn't he just adorbs? I can't wait to meet him! Nothing cuter than a chubby puppy belly and warm puppy breath.
