They have to at least persuade him to host the show next year. He was funnier in his minute and a half than Jay Mohr was during the entire show, not to mention a zillion times smoother (and much prettier to look at ;)
P.S. One of the college hockey blogs was doing a live blog during the draft and mentioned that if Bettman wore a monocle he'd look just like the Count from Sesame Street. So true!

We need to petition the NHL to get Hamm as the host next year. I don't "dislike" Jay Mohr, but like you said, Hamm is smoother and much prettier :)
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see Bettman I break out into the Count's "Ah ah ah" :) He could also pass for Count Chocula, or one of the goblins from Harry Potter!
Hamm is pretty polished. And I agree with you about The Count! lol
